UGC NET December 2012 Examination Details

UGC NET December 2012 Examination is going to be held on December 30th, 2012. To avoid last minute rush, make sure you submit your UGC Net December 2012 Examination Online Form as soon as possible. University Grants Commission conducts National Eligibility Test two times in a year, usually in the month of June and December. UGC is inviting Online Forms for the NET Examination slated to be held on 30th December, 2012. The last date to submit UGC NET December 2012 Online Examination Form is November 16. The National Educational Testing Bureau of University Grants Commission conducts National Eligibility Test every year for appointment of Lecturers in Colleges and Universities and for award of Junior Research Fellowship. The prime objective to conduct the test is to en sure minimum eligibility for the candidates who want to enter in the profession of teaching and research. NET is held twice a year usually in the month of June and December in 78 subjects across 77 centres in the India.

The University Grants Commission announces its program to conduct the National Eligibility Test on 30th December 2012 for determining the eligibility of Indian nationals for the Eligibility for Lectureship only or Junior Research Fellowship and Eligibility for Lectureship both in Indian universities and colleges. If you are interested in the noble profession of teaching and research, you can also appear for NET December 2012. The minimum qualification for appearing in NET, candidate should have a Master Degree with 55% marks.

The UGC NET/ JRF comprises of 3 papers. All these 3 papers consist of Objective Type Questions. The Paper I is general in nature and intends to assess Research/ Teaching Aptitude of the candidates appearing for the NET. On the other hand, Paper II and III consist of 50 and 75 compulsory questions respectively based on the subject in which the candidate holds a Master Degree. The General Paper consists of 60 objective questions on Teaching & Research Aptitude of which candidates need to attempt only 50 questions.
