| Founded in memory of the temple of Nankana Sahib, birthplace of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College (NSET) was established in 1953 in Ludhiana, Punjab. It is one of the oldest engineering colleges situated in the northern region of India.
